Aircell Deploys Venturi's Data Optimization Solution
SUNNYVALE, Calif., March 16 -- Venturi Wireless, a global provider of mobile broadband optimization solutions, announces that Aircell, the leading provider of airborne communications, has deployed its data optimization products. After a successful initial deployment in 2009, Aircell has decided to expand its use of Venturi's optimization solution throughout its groundbreaking Gogo® Inflight Internet service.
Venturi's patented operator-grade solutions maximize network efficiency and deliver the most compelling mobile subscriber experience available for both data and multimedia applications. Additionally, the Venturi Mobile Operator solution controls network costs by substantially reducing the amount of traffic on the network. Venturi's solutions have long optimized applications like web and video for subscribers of mobile operators on the ground. Now with this deal, Venturi has vaulted into the most exciting new segment for mobile Internet access, air travel.
